Data Center Manager
The role of the data Center manager is to develop and evolve the Data center Strategy and to manage the overall Strategic Relationship to ensure that the Clients/InterSystems obtain the proposed value add. This position is also responsible for leading the all Data Center teams to ensure that all the key functions are fulfilled: Relationship Management, Contract Administration Management, Financial Management, and Service Provider Performance Management. Job Responsibilities: 1. Manages all aspects from a Data Center Operation: Technical Commercial Financial Operational 2. Manages overall relationship with key Clients and Service/Hardware/Software Providers: Determine the strategy for the effective use of the Data Center?s services Implement the Data Center strategy Ensure the terms and conditions of the contract are satisfied Ensure Client/InterSystems standards & policies are created/enforced Approve all Data Center assignments to Key Positions Facilitates Data Center team relationship review sessions 3. Leadership Responsibilities: Create vision, clear direction and strategy for team Establish, manage and coach team to clear objectives and performance expectations Attract, motivate, develop and retain highly skilled workforce Constantly monitor and improve team efficiency, effectiveness and impact Create an environment that values employees and encourages cooperation, open communication and teamwork across the enterprise Serve as a role model by demonstrating a commitment to corporate values, high performance standards, workplace diversity, and driving results Incorporates project evaluations and lessons learned into overall Governance processes Provide coaching , career path, training, and communication to Governance Team 4. Identify and implement improvements to all activities that make up the Service Delivery Processes 5. Create, manage and maintain a service improvement plan ensuring alliance with the Service Director, Sales Staff and Partners (if applicable) 6. Ensures that all Data Center?s performance are meeting the needs of the business Ensures that the delivered services meet the operational needs of the business Ensures that quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity measurements are tracked and reviewed with the appropriate Client and InterSystems personnel Ensures that appropriate business continuity plans and other risk mitigation plans are in place Ensures appropriate escalation processes are in place to resolve service/ policy issues Provides early warning for key delivery problems Ensures Data Center compliance with all standards and procedures to both business policies and government and statutory regulations. Manages benchmark activities to monitor Service Provider?s performance against industry standards Monitors fulfillment of deliverables/commitments 7. Acts as the escalation point between the customer and InterSystems (Sales, Services, Product Support) 8. Assumes additional responsibilities as requested. Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent. 2. 10+ Years of relevant general management experience or progression of senior leadership positions of increasing complexity, including management of a matrixes organization. 3. Demonstrated success leading large scale initiatives with enterprise level impact. 4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 5.
